Dr. Melot graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. After graduating from Palmer she continued her education at Life University by completing a Masters in Positive Psychology. She also pursued a Prenatal and Pediatric Chiropractic certification and Webster Chiropractic certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. At BirthBabyBody Chiropractic Dr. Melot focuses on prenatal, postnatal, pediatric, and family chiropractic care.

Dr. Lauren Adamski, DC

Dr. Adamski graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic from University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. She is a Texas native who grew up in Houston and received a B.S. in Neuroscience at Trinity University in San Antonio. Dr. Adamski has a passion for treating whole families and focuses on prenatal, postnatal, pediatric and family chiropractic care. When she is not treating patients you can find her hanging out with her adorable dog or playing beach volleyball.

Dr. Molly Pluss was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She went to Texas A&M University earning a B.S. Animal Science. Dr. Molly attended Parker University earning a Doctorate of Chiropractic with a Clinical Excellence Award and certification in Animal Chiropractic. She believes that every creature with a spine deserves chiropractic care and enjoys treating people of all ages and animals. In her spare time, you can find Dr. Molly riding horses, kayaking on Lady Bird Lake, or on an adventure with her dog Joey. She cannot wait to help you and your family function at one hundred percent and express life to the fullest!

Raevan is an Austin native and graduate of Texas Christian University. Her love for fitness began as a child dancing with Ballet Austin and continued into adulthood as she added different fitness regimens to her own routine during her pregnancies. As a mother of three young daughters, she became passionate about helping others in their own prenatal and postnatal fitness journeys. Raevan believes in the importance of training your body for pregnancy and the birth process and she she is extremely passionate about setting up her clients for success before, during and after pregnancy. At BirthBabyBody Raevan leads our rehab department including spearheading our Defeat Diastasis program, a rehabilitation program for abdominal separation or diastasis recti.
Michaela moved to Austin, TX with her family in 2017. Ever since her first pregnancy, she has been obsessed with everything pregnancy, birth, postpartum and motherhood related. On her journey she became a certified doula, hypno doula, babywearing consultant, lactation consultant and a passionate supporter of mothers and families in general. Later on she aknowledged changes of postpartum bodies and possibilities how to deal with those and became a complete mama-doula-fitness nerd! She is currently pursuing a specialized certification in perinatal fitness and her certified personal training certificate through National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Michaela loves helping other dedicated parents on their journey to their better selves! At BirthBabyBody you will meet her at morning boot camps, working with one on one with diastasis patients or just hanging around, ready to help with pretty much anything!
Abby moved to Austin in 2019 and is a native of the Washington DC metro area. Her background is in dance, training in classical ballet, tap, jazz, modern. She has many years of professional dance and teaching experience with adults and children. She has first hand experience as a defeat diastasis client, completing the program herself and closing her 2 finger gap. Since regaining her strength post pregnancy she has become passionate about helping other moms and mothers-to-be in their fitness journey. She is currently pursuing her certified personal training certificate through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Abby is a mom to three young girls, ages 5, 4, and 1.
Laci Douthitt, Licensed Massage Therapist
Director of Massage Therapy
Laci grew up in Cedar City, Utah and moved to Marble Falls, TX in 2000 after graduating college. She ran track in high school, then college, and has been an avid runner ever since. Laci decided to pursue yoga and massage therapy as she has been a fan of health and wellness all her life. She became certified in Hatha yoga in 2014. While teaching yoga she obtained her massage license at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School and Clinic of Austin in 2017.
At BirthBabyBody Chiropractic she enjoys providing a variety of massage techniques including sports massage, deep tissue body work, prenatal and postnatal massage, cupping, myofascial release, and more. She trains in Jiu-Jitsu and achieved her purple belt in 2020. She brings a very calming and healing presence to her work, but we hear she is quite fierce on the Jiu-Jitsu mats! Laci also enjoys hanging out with her 5-year-old son Brooks and her (black belt) husband Marcus. We all love working with her and know you will too.
Olivia Jesus Clark, Licensed Massage Therapist
Olivia Bates has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 15 years. She specializes in various techniques combining Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, and Sports Massage. Olivia’s work is described as “a very deep therapeutic massage with a gentle approach to the body.”
Olivia is originally from Portugal where she represented her country competing internationally as a double black belt in Judo. This background gave her a deeper understanding of the body and of sports related injuries.
Olivia also worked as a Stage Manager/Technician for live world concert tours with Portuguese, Brazilian, and American bands. She was responsible for directing all aspects of the stage for over 10 years and at one point she was the personal assistant for Donna Summer. This experience provided Olivia with knowledge about different people’s needs, personalities, and how best to serve them.
After Olivia graduated from Massage School, she worked primarily in Sports Massage and Chiropractic clinics. Over the years, she worked with a wide variety of clients of all ages and backgrounds, these clients included NFL football players, soccer players, golfers, tennis athletes, and clients with chronic or acute injuries.
Stefani Stephens, Licensed Massage Therapist
Stefani has been a massage therapist for over 8 years. She is an Army Combat Veteran. Stefani focuses much of her practice in pain relief and stress management. She also has a State Certification for Mental Health Peer Specialist. This lends to coaching in stress management and coping skills. In her free time she runs, travels, and cooks.
Patricia Adams, Licensed Massage Therapist
Patricia is a native Texan and graduate of Texas State University with a degree in Health Care Administration awarded in 1997. After graduating from college, she pursued massage therapy and completed her training in 1998. She has continued her massage therapy training with many courses including studies in fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, immune system, sports injuries, prenatal massage, and trigger point therapy. Due to a lifelong love of exercise and fitness, she also completed her National Academy of Sports Medicine certified group fitness instructor training in 2019 with a focus on barre and pilates. Her lifelong passion for health and wellness is what keeps her the most excited about massage and its benefits for both body and mind. In her free time, you will find Patricia running, cooking, gardening, walking her dogs, and spending time with her husband and 2 children.
Collette is a mom of two with a passion for early childhood development and helping women find balance in self care, specifically with a focus on postpartum. Since 2010 she has been coaching and running a health blog to encourage women to discover their best selves through a healthier mindset and lifestyle. She has a group fitness certification through National Academy of Sports Medicine and isa certified PiYo instructor. Collette is always interested in teaching new formats!
Karrissa is extremely passionate about helping others live a healthy lifestyle. Over the last 10 years she has expanded her knowledge in many avenues of the fitness industry. Karrissa studied to become a certified personal trainer as well as received her license for sports nutrition. She continued in expanding her education by attending school for massage therapy and her career took flight. Being a mom herself, she understands the strength (mentally and physically) it takes.
With over a decade of administrative and customer service experience, Sarah brings her passion and knowledge of the mom and baby dyad to her role as the Office Manager at birthbabybody. She earned her Bachelor’s in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from SDSU and her Lactation and Education certification through the UCSD distance program shortly after. As a mother to three sons, her love of supporting women and babies was developed from her own experiences in receiving ample encouragement during the postpartum period. She looks forward to passing that same support on to the community of clients at BirthBabyBody.
