Dr. Katherine Melot MSPP, DC, CACCP

Dr. Melot graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. After graduating from Palmer she continued her education at Life University by completing a Masters in Positive Psychology. She also pursued a Prenatal and Pediatric Chiropractic certification and Webster Chiropractic certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. At BirthBabyBody Chiropractic Dr. Melot focuses on prenatal, postnatal, pediatric, and family chiropractic care.

Webster Certified 

The Webster Technique is utilized throughout pregnancy as a safe means to restore proper pelvic balance and function.This technique is defined as a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment that reduces interference to the nervous system and facilitates biomechanical balance in pelvic structures, muscles and ligaments. Dr. Katherine Melot is a Certified Webster Technique Practitioner, holds Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP), and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, ICPA.

Dr. Lauren Adamski, DC
Doctor Of Chiropractic

Dr. Adamski graduated with her Doctorate of Chiropractic from University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. She is a Texas native who grew up in Houston and received a B.S. in Neuroscience at Trinity University in San Antonio.  Dr. Adamski has a passion for treating whole families and focuses on prenatal, postnatal, pediatric and family chiropractic care. When she is not treating patients you can find her hanging out with her adorable dog or playing beach volleyball.

Raevan Bielik, Certified Perinatal Fitness Specialist
Rehabilitation Director

Raevan is an Austin native and graduate of Texas Christian University. Her love for fitness began as a child dancing with Ballet Austin and continued into adulthood as she added different fitness regimens to her own routine during her pregnancies. As a mother of three young daughters, she became passionate about helping others in their own prenatal and postnatal fitness journeys. Raevan believes in the importance of training your body for pregnancy and the birth process and she she is extremely passionate about setting up her clients for success before, during and after pregnancy. At BirthBabyBody Raevan leads our rehab department including spearheading our Defeat Diastasis program, a rehabilitation program for abdominal separation or diastasis recti.

Anna Bales, CPT
Rehabilitation Specialist

Anna has a bachelors in exercise kinesiology and is a certified personal trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine. 

She became passionate about movement and rehabilitation after recovering from many injuries herself. At birthbabybody Anna focuses on pre and postnatal rehabilitation through our defeat diastasis program. This role has married her passion for fitness with being able to support them gain a stronger sense of body awareness and strength. Anna is currently pursuing an additional perinatal fitness certification to add to her knowledge of pelvic floor and core rehabilitation.


When Anna is not at the office she loves weight lifting, live music, and exploring Austin. 

Michaela Holcikova
Rehabilitation Specialist

Michaela moved to Austin TX with her family in 2017. Ever since her first pregnancy, she has been obsessed with everything pregnancy, birth, postpartum and motherhood related. On her journey she became a certified doula, hypno doula, babywearing consultant, lactation consultant and a passionate supporter of mothers and families in general. Later on she aknowledged changes of postpartum bodies and possibilities how to deal with those and became a complete mama-doula-fitness nerd! She is currently pursuing a specialized certification in perinatal fitness and her certified personal training certificate through National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Michaela loves helping other dedicated parents on their journey to their better selves! At BirthBabyBody you will meet her at morning boot camps, working with one on one with diastasis patients or just hanging around, ready to help with pretty much anything! 

Laci Douthitt, Licensed Massage Therapist
Director of Massage Therapy

Laci grew up in Cedar City, Utah and moved to Marble Falls, TX in 2000 and after graduating college. She ran track in high school, then college, and has been an avid runner ever since. Laci decided to pursue yoga and massage therapy as she has been a fan of health and wellness all her life. She became certified in Hatha yoga in 2014. While teaching yoga she obtained her massage license at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School and Clinic of Austin in 2017. 

At BirthBabyBody Chiropractic she enjoys providing a variety of massage techniques including sports massage, deep tissue body work, prenatal and postnatal massage, cupping, myofascial release, and more. She trains in Jiu-Jitsu and achieved her purple belt in 2020. She brings a very calming and healing presence to her work, but we hear she is quite fierce on the Jiu-Jitsu mats! Laci also enjoys hanging out with her 5-year-old son Brooks and her (black belt) husband Marcus. We all love working with her and know you will too.

Olivia Bates, Licensed Massage Therapist

Olivia Bates has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 15 years. She specializes in various techniques combining Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, and Sports Massage. Olivia’s work is described as “a very deep therapeutic massage with a gentle approach to the body.”


Olivia is originally from Portugal where she represented her country competing internationally as a double black belt in Judo. This background gave her a deeper understanding of the body and of sports related injuries.

Olivia also worked as a Stage Manager/Technician for live world concert tours with Portuguese, Brazilian, and American bands. She was responsible for directing all aspects of the stage for over 10 years and at one point she was the personal assistant for Donna Summer. This experience provided Olivia with knowledge about different people’s needs, personalities, and how best to serve them.


After Olivia graduated from Massage School, she worked primarily in Sports Massage and Chiropractic clinics. Over the years, she worked with a wide variety of clients of all ages and backgrounds, these clients included NFL football players, soccer players, golfers, tennis athletes, and clients with chronic or acute injuries.

Anna Balyakina, Licensed Massage Therapist

Anna Balyakina was born in Moscow, Russia. After traveling for some time,  Anna found home in Austin, Texas where she graduated from A New Beginning School of Massage. She specializes in prenatal massage, Reiki energy work, Swedish relaxation and hot stone massage.


When Anna is not doing massage, she is spending time with her family, working on her Master's in Literacy degree and training her puppy to be a reading therapy buddy for the classroom.

Sophie Jones, RN
Birthing Coach

Sophie grew up in California where she earned a Bachelor’s degree from UC Irvine, completed her doula certification course in 2016 and became a Registered Nurse in 2017. She has worked as a labor and delivery nurse for over two years in a small rural hospital on the CA coast. She recently moved to the south Austin area with her husband and three children, transitioning to doula work full-time. 

Sophie’s experience as a labor and delivery nurse as well as a mom of three allow her to bring a wealth of knowledge to her clients, no matter what type of birth they choose. Her deep compassion for birthing families shines in her work. She brings a calm, grounded energy to the birth space and her clients benefit from her ability to facilitate communication between families and their medical providers. 

As a birthing coach and doula, Sophie is excited to help birthing people and parents develop birth and postpartum support plans that work for their individual needs and values. She believes in supporting family-centered, evidence-informed, affirming birth and postpartum experiences. Drawing from her experiences as an RN, Sophie is skilled at matching the energy and needs of her clients.

When Sophie is not supporting and educating families, she enjoys trying out the local restaurants in town with her husband, exploring nearby parks with her kids, and baking. 

Sarah Saucedo
Office Manager

With over a decade of administrative and customer service experience, Sarah brings her passion and knowledge of the mom and baby dyad to her role as the Office Manager at birthbabybody. She earned her Bachelor’s in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from SDSU and her Lactation and Education certification through the UCSD distance program shortly after. As a mother to three sons, her love of supporting women and babies was developed from her own experiences in receiving ample encouragement during the postpartum period. She looks forward to passing that same support on to the community of clients at BirthBabyBody.

Tatum is a native Texan, with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from The University of North Texas. Upon graduation she worked nearly 5 years in a sports chiropractic clinic gaining administrative experience and growing her passion for health and wellness. In her free time she enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with family and her pup.
